We were asked to replace an out-of-date bathroom and replace it with a modern bathroom, complete with free standing bath. The project involved a complete reconfiguration of the room as the previous layout included a corner bath with shower over.
After removing the flooring, all piping was replaced and reconfigured to the new layout, including a new external soil pipe. Under floor heating was installed and new plaster boards were positioned over the existing metal stud walls and redabbed to ensure a high quality and level surface for the new tiling. A feature wall recess was also created.
Once the preparation work was completed, the free standing bath with free standing cascade tap and new shower with waterproof backboards were installed, as well as other bathroom furniture including a vanity unit,heated towel rail, all new lighting and an anti-mist Bluetooth mirror.
This was a challenging job due the complete redesign that was required, but the attention to detail we put in to every project while carrying out preparation work means the finished bathroom looks stunning.
